FRE in Shared Freedom

In Shared Freedom, FRE is civic currency in the deepest sense — a transparent record of contribution to the common life, answerable to every member.

Earn FRE by doing the work of freedom: attending assemblies, facilitating dialogue, serving as an election observer, mentoring new citizens, maintaining the commons. Spend it on gatherings, materials, and mutual support. The ledger is public by design — the order that preaches transparency practices it, and every token’s movement can be audited by anyone.

The teaching: a free society runs on visible, voluntary contribution, not on hidden extraction. FRE makes the invisible economy of civic labor visible at last — the hours in the meeting room, the doors knocked, the dissenter defended. What gets measured gets honored, and what gets honored gets repeated.
