Library

The Eternal Reality library is built for slow reading — texts meant to be lived with rather than finished.

Its center is the Eternal Reality volume of Freedom and Reality: the Assembly’s founding vision rendered in the voice of Vedanta — Sat-Chit-Ananda as the ground of freedom, the giver-receiver relation as the play of consciousness, the call to prevail as the soul’s refusal of the unreal. Available in the Assembly shop.

Around it: reliable translations of the principal Upanishads and the Gita, Shankara’s Crest-Jewel of Discrimination, the Yoga Sutras, Ramana Maharshi’s Who Am I?, Nisargadatta’s I Am That, and modern commentaries that bridge ancient inquiry and contemporary life. The librarian’s rule: fewer books, deeper reading. One verse truly absorbed outweighs a shelf skimmed.
