Give as Dana

The Eternal Reality tradition calls giving Dana — and understands it as one of the purest spiritual practices. The Bhagavad Gita teaches that the highest giving is offered without expectation of return, at the right time and place, to one worthy of receiving. Dana given in this spirit purifies the giver more than the gift enriches the receiver.

Why? Because grasping is the mechanism of bondage. Every act of genuine release — of money, of food, of time, of the need to be thanked — loosens the ego’s grip and rehearses the ultimate release that liberation requires. Dana is karma yoga in its most direct form: action surrendered of its fruits.

The order’s giving page carries the full teaching, the free workbook of dana practices, and the way to give financially — including the order’s giving product in the shop. Give quietly, give regularly, and give as practice: the left hand not knowing what the right hand does, and the heart growing lighter with every release.

What you cling to, you lose. What you release in love, you become.
