FRE in Conscious Submission
In Conscious Submission, FRE is understood as rizq — provision — circulating through the community by God’s permission and the members’ faithfulness. The token does not create generosity; it witnesses to it.
Earn FRE by worship (prayer kept, Qur’an studied), by service (the works of mercy), by teaching (halaqas led, converts supported), by giving (zakat and sadaqah recorded). Spend it on the community’s needs — gatherings, the poor fund, educational materials. The ledger is transparent because the tradition demands accountability in all financial matters: every soul will be held accountable for what it earned.
The order’s reminder, drawn from the Prophet’s warning against the love of wealth: FRE is a tool of the community, never its master. The one whose heart is attached to tokens has missed the point as surely as the one attached to coins. Give freely, track honestly, and trust the Provider above every provision.
