Gatherings & Sacred Times
Conscious Submission keeps the rhythm of the Islamic year alongside the Assembly’s shared calendar — a double heartbeat of revelation and community.
Ramadan is the crown: thirty days of fasting, nightly taraweeh prayers, and the seeking of Laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Decree better than a thousand months. The two Eids — al-Fitr breaking the fast, al-Adha honoring sacrifice — are celebrated with congregational prayer, feasting, and charity to the poor. The order also observes the nights and days the tradition honors, and joins the Assembly’s interfaith gatherings as witnesses to mercy.
Weekly Jumu’ah, study halaqas, and full festival dates are at the Conscious Submission calendar. Non-Muslim guests are welcome at public celebrations — come for the Eid meal; stay for the conversation about Isa and Maryam that will surely follow.
