Community Life
The community of Conscious Submission gathers with the warmth the Qur’an commands: the believers are but brothers. Our circles mix prayer and practicality — the mosque’s discipline with the kitchen’s generosity.
Jumu’ah brings the community together weekly; study circles (halaqas) work through Qur’an and the Isa-Maryam narratives; sisters’ and brothers’ gatherings provide space for honest conversation. Newcomers — Muslim or curious — are welcomed with the tradition’s famous hospitality: you will be fed before you are taught, because the order believes the stomach’s trust precedes the heart’s.
The community keeps a special care for converts and the isolated, for the elderly, and for neighbors of all faiths — the Qur’an commands excellence to neighbors, and our neighbors include every order of the Assembly. Interfaith friendship here is not a program but a habit: we know the Christians’ Jesus is our Isa, honored differently and loved deeply, and that shared love is a bridge no argument could build.
Come pray with us, eat with us, learn with us. Bring your questions; the One we worship loves to be asked.
