Library

The Sacred Earth library gathers the written wisdom of the order — field guides to attention, treasuries of Indigenous teaching offered in print, and the order’s own growing body of work.

At its heart stands the Sacred Earth volume of Freedom and Reality, the order’s rendering of the Assembly’s founding vision in its own voice — the metaphysics of interconnection, the discipline of reciprocity, and the prophetic call to belong to the Earth again. It is available in the Assembly shop as a digital volume.

The library also holds seasonal reading lists (what to read in the dark of winter versus the fullness of summer), bioregional field guides for the lands where our circles gather, children’s shelves for raising young naturalists, and the community’s own journals — records of sit spots, restoration projects, and what the land has been teaching lately. Everything here is chosen by one standard: does it help you pay better attention to the living world?
