Give in Reciprocity
In Sacred Earth, giving is not generosity — it is ecology. The forest does not “donate” to the fungi; it participates in an exchange that keeps both alive. Our giving tradition is called Reciprocity, and it works the same way.
To give in reciprocity is to complete a circle. You received clean water, so you protect a watershed. You ate from the soil, so you feed the soil. You were given beauty without charge, so you give beauty without invoice. Every gift in this order is understood as a return, not an origination — we are always giving back what was first given to us.
Reciprocal giving takes many forms: money for land protection and restoration, hours of labor on workdays, seeds shared, skills taught, meals cooked for the circle. The order’s giving page carries the full teaching, the free workbook of reciprocal practices, and the way to give financially — including the order’s giving product in the shop, where every amount returns directly to the work of healing land and teaching belonging.
The Earth keeps perfect accounts. Give like you are part of the system — because you are.
